I was just listening to James Ingram!! And I was wondering if he had anything new out!! I love his voice!! Especially on this song that I am listening to now - Forever More!! Awesome song!!:thumbsup:

Ingram fronted "Lean on Me" for Masters as Work last year. He sings as good as ever:)

He hasn't released any real albums since 1992. Hopefully 2003 will bring something new.

I really love his voice!! I know he has done a couple of songs on two of John Teshs CD!! He and Michael McDonald(I believe that's his name) has simliar singing styles!!

Michael McDonald has one of the most unique voices I've ever heard. I love his solo work. He was a great Doobie Brother, too!

You are right Topie, Michael Mcdonald does have a very Unique voice, put everytime I hear James Ingram, well they just sound alot a like!! I loved him with the Doobie Brothers - Awesome Band!!:thumbsup:

Remember that james Ingram & Michael McDonald duetted together on the classic "Ya Mo B There" (1983).
They do sound very alike especially when singing together. James' a bit more gritty though.
Michael McDonald has just released a new album of classic soul cover songs. Pretty good stuff for late nite listening:)

The Album's called "Motown" but officially it's not out until may 16 on Universal.

he also does versions of "Signed Sealed Delivered" and "Distant Lover" on it.
