This chart was noticable for many reasons but mostly because the high number of reissued singles that appear on it.
That goes for the songs by: Jackie Wilson (#18)
- the 60's soul singer died in the early 80's after being in a coma for years.
Dennis Edwards: (#27)
- The former Temptations singer who struck gold for the second time with this 1984 song.
The Gap Band: (#4)
- It was a slightly remixed version of "Oops.." but you really couldn't hear it.

Also: #24 by the cookie crew was the first UK produced single in the short-lived "Hip-House" style (rapping on top of house music beats)

Is this chart, as it seems, a blues and soul music chart or the official Danish sales chart for the period?

No, this is a chart taken from an 1987 issue of the UK music magazine "Blues & Soul" Pratically none of these songs ever charted in my home country
