LL Cool J re-signs with Def Jam

LL Cool J just re-signed to Def Jam, the only record label he's known, and says he's already tentatively scheduled his next album (his 11th) for a December release.

I never even knew he left Def Jam in the first place.

LL is one of the hip-hop greats. he gotta have credit for staying around for so long.
Jeez R.A.D.I.O was almost 20 years ago :eek:

I think he was a free-agent. But, he never signed with anyone else.

I agree, KB, this guy's continued longevity and be able to continue to make hit records is simply amazing.
