Some of these tracks were definetely more R&B than HI-NRG - but they're in the chart anyway.

1. 7th Avenue - Love's Gone Mad
2. Pattie Brooks - Lifeline Dancing
3. Shaun Benson - Seclusion
4. Aretha Franklin - Another Night
5. L.I.F.E. - All Played Out
6. Eartha Kitt - This Is My Life
7. Street Angels - One Bite
8. Val Young - If You Should Ever be Lonely
9. Den Harrow - Charleston
10.Linda Imperial - Stranger

Remember any of these??

Im sure you must be familiar with the Aretha Franklin track Timster. It was also on her 1985 Who's Zoomin' Who album.

I was actually quite surprised to see Aretha included on a HI-NRG chart. I wouldn't categorize that song as HI-NRG at all!

Well havent posted here in a while..figured id stop by lol. Anyhow I know the 7th Ave. track and a few others. These are mainly underground disco artists from the 70's that tried to do 80s dance music in the 80s..never knew they went anywhere in other countries..thats kinda cool!

LOL i wouldn't say the track actually went anywhere Jim. Keep in mind that this chart was compiled by specialists shops dealing with import stuff mostly. Guess I should have pointed that out earlier:confused2
