Even though there's a few odd choices for old-school on this list, it's still pretty amazing. I can't believe how many of these tracks I actually own :p

where on earth did you find such a comprehensive list Tim??

I always liked Cameo!

Do you remember a song called, "Just Got Paid" byt Johnny Kemp?

Bambi,
"just Got Paid" is a new Jack Swing classic!! It came out in 1988 and also appeared on Johnny Kemps "Secrets Of Flying" album of that year. It was also one of the first productions by Teddy Riley (partnering up with Gene Griffin at the time). Kemp was a real one hit wonder and I haven't seen much about him ever since that time.

Just wondering though....jow did Cameo made you think of Johnny Kemp?

Johnny Kemp - Just Got Paid!

Man, that was my Friday Night Anthem!

.....Just got paid, Friday night
Party hoppin', feelin right
Booties shakin', all around
Pump that jam, while I'm gettin' down....

K-B, the radio station that I used to work for no longer does their year-end countdown of the best old skool jamz. I think I stumbled upon this list from an Los Angeles, CA radio station. www.hot92jamz.com Great station to listen to....old skool and today's rnb.

Here is a list from last year that I posted http://www.i80s.com/forums/showthread.php?t=193&highlight=flashback

Well...
I've been listening to this '80s radio station on MusicMatch MX, and they played both of those songs the other day! Like right now it's playing, "Let It Whip" by the Dazz Band
