Does Anyone Remember These R&B People?

I sell and trade really rare 80's-90's r&b and was wondering if you guys remember:
The Nu Girls, Stacye & Kimiko, New Choice (a part of MC Hammer's click), Tyren Perry (the sister of Jaimee Foxworth from Family Matters), Mica Paris, Nicki Richards...

I took the liberty of moving this thread from the main music forum and over here instead. this seems like the appropiate place for it.

Nicki Richards did the "Naked To The World" Album in 1991. pretty good new jack swing stuff but most of the album was surprisengly produced by old jazz funk hero lenny White.
Mica Paris had a big hit in northern europe with her "My One Temptation" in 1988 (also included on her debut album) but she's largely unknown outside the UK as far as I know. She did two more albums in the 90s but i'm unaware if they came out in the US.

Both these artists shouldn't be hard to find on www.gemm.com

I afraid I'm unfamiliar with the rest of the stuff you mentioned.

How nice to find these threads where people still luurve 80's R&B! Only familiar with Mica Paris from that list I'm afraid, but maybe I can throw a couple 'o others in the ring?

Guinn and/or Body - if anyone knows if either of these groups ever released anything other than 1 self titled LP each I'd be EXTREMELY happy to know :)

Apart from their 1988 album, Body also released a 12" single entitled "Touch Me Up" in 1990. It was taken from their "Easy To Love" album appearing the same year.
Group member Letitia Body also guested on Kieth Washington's "You Make It Easy" album in 1993 duetting on the ballad "Let Me Make Love To You".

Nicki Richards is still around today but unfortunately not as a solo artist. She recently did vocals for Frankie Knuckles on his "A New Reality" set and she's also been working a bit with George Benson throughout the 90s.

(sorry, i'm new here...and least to say i got to this site b/c i was actually LOOKING for Stacye & Kimiko stuff, info, albums, etc.)

but....I LOVE THOSE TWO!!! omg, music like that doesn't exist anymore...how could anyone forget the WAIT FOR ME song/video?! if ANY1 knows where i can get their video somehow, i would love them forever. i've never seen or heard a girlgroup like them since them. who else here remembers them??? if you do, LET ME KNOW and share whatever info on the girls you know.

I have lots of stuff for sale and some things not listed, so email me if you're looking for something in particular. I really just specialize in rare 80's-90's r&b (no hit wonders and one hit wonders mostly).
To the person who loves Stacye and Kimiko...I have their video for Wait For Me. Maybe we could trade if you have something in your collection I might want. Email me if you read this. I also have their album. Did you know that Kimiko recorded a solo album? It never got released though. I've been searching high and low for a copy. Did you also know they were in a teen group called the Sugarbabes? I have two of their 12" singles. They look like an 80's version of Destiny's Child...it's pretty hilarious. Stacye actually looked a lot like Beyonce when she was a teenager, it's amazing.

Hey!! Just a quick note on a couple things. Body actually released two albums. One included the singles Body and Middle Of the Night (I have the Body 12", which features Mr. Lee). And if you're a fan of Stacye & Kimiko, you should try to track down the album by The Sugar Babes (not to be confused with the British group Sugababes). They were members of this group before they became a duo. Hot '80s R&B. Gotta love Nicki Richards and Tyren Perry as well, though the Nu Girls were pretty dire... :yuck:

Hello...

Tyren joined up with her sisters Jania and Jaimee Foxxworth in 1997 and recorded an album...It's called 3's A Charm, and their group was named S.H.E....it's decent, and I have it and listen to it every now and then...they sounded pretty good. I know that Tyren was doing some recording with two other girls back in like 2004 or so, but I never heard anything else...
