New Order, Culture Club and other 80s bands are recording again!

New OrderHere is some exciting news for 80s music fans! Remember the Britpop synth band New Order, who recorded the chart-topping song “Blue Monday“? Well, they are back in the studio getting ready to record their 10th studio album.

If you grew up in the 80s, you will definitely remember hits like “Karma Chameleon“, “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me” and “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya” from the Boy George-fronted ’80s group Culture Club. They are also currently in the studio recording their first album as a band in more than 15 years!

Faith No More, the band behind 1989’s hit “Epic” are back together and in the studio getting ready to release their first full-length album in 18 years. Their album will be available sometime in 2015.

The English synthpop duo Erasure, who saw their biggest hits like “Oh, L’Amour” and “Ship of Fools” reach their peak in the mid to late ’80s are also gearing up to release an album this fall.

If you didn’t grow up in the 80’s, don’t fear… There are also a few ’90s acts that will be dropping albums in 2015. Music artists such as: En Vogue, Counting Crows, Limp Bizkit and Smashing Pumpkins.

Ozzy Osbourne releases first studio album in 3 years, tenth album overall

Ozzy Osbourne ScreamOzzy’s tenth album ‘Scream‘ was produced by Ozzy and Kevin Churko, both of whom did the same honors for Ozzy’s 2007 worldwide million-seller ‘Black Rain‘, the album.

The multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer recorded most of the album at his Los Angeles home studio, The Bunker, and co-wrote all the songs, primarily with Churko. Notably, the album marks the first appearance of Ozzy’s new guitar player, Gus G. Ozzy’s band also features bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
